How Newborn Photography Scheduling Works (And Why It Starts Before Baby even Arrives!)

There is a short, fleeting window at the beginning of your baby's life that cannot be recreated. The curled fingers. The way they still tuck their knees in close. The newness of everything. Newborn photography exists to hold that window still. Booking at the right time is what makes that possible!
When Most Families Reserve Their Spot
Most of my clients secure their newborn session early in the third trimester, typically around 28 to 32 weeks. By that point, your due date is confirmed, the excitement has settled in, and your nesting energy is in full swing. It is the ideal time to get this on your list and off your mind.
I intentionally keep my newborn calendar limited. Taking on only a small number of newborn sessions each month allows me to be fully present and available for each family I serve. It also means my calendar fills up earlier than you might expect.

How It Works After Baby Arrives
Once your little one is here, you reach out and we schedule your session. Typically clients txt or email me within 48 hours so we can schedule the newborn session. I love photographing newborns in the first two weeks of life, when they are at their sleepiest and most curled. Everything we talked about during pregnancy comes together in those hours, without any scrambling or last-minute decisions on your end.
That is the goal: for you to walk into your session having already handled the details,
so all you have to do is be present.
